Hi, I'm Eric! I work as a firefighter and EMT and have spent months at a time overseas in India and Haiti working in clinics with the poorest of the poor. Now I'm trying to do this full time with my family and am asking for your support. All proceeds will go directly into the hands of the needy in the form of food/material/financial assistance or in an account reserved specifically for medical missions. Thank you for visiting!

The Bare Necesseties
One thing was clear during my time in both Port au Prince and Kolkata: people are dying, and all they need is food. We spent much of our time simply walking the streets and through the slums, handing out nourishing food to men, women, and children who looked, quite literally, as if they were skin and bones.
HEALTH CLINIC
A Real Need
Public Hospitals in India were overcrowded and impossible to get into. In Haiti, things may have been worse. Working in a free clinic, I saw lines of people every day who came for wound management and simple medication. With your donations, supplies can be purchased which can be used to set up a free clinic quite easily, but we need to be in country in order to do this. The need is great. As many NGOs and nonprofits are in these countries already, there is always room for one more: especially a small group like 1 Earth 1 Family who can minimize overhead and work directly with those who need help.
