Okay, so I don't think I've ever used the phrase "future-casting" before, (nor do I know if it should even be hyphenated) but I think it fits well with what I'll be doing in this post. Basically, I'm going to go over what's been accomplished today, and what the goals for the future will be (with approximate timelines). Here goes:
What we did today (or yesterday, as it's 2:01 in the morning right now):
1.) Started a brand new you tube channel here.
2.) Started a brand new patreon page here.
3.) Started a brand new website and blog, which you're already on.
4.) Bought the domain name 1earth1family.world, which I can't connect to this website without paying Wix a monthly fee...which doesn't seem smart since I don't have any donations yet.
5.) Recorded an intro video for the you tube channel
6.) Did a whole bunch of graphic designing, etc. to make all of the above happen.
Now, what about the future? Well, there's a lot to be done. I would like to release a new video on my channel every week, and a new blog post at roughly the same rate. (It should easy to do the blogging.) I can't figure out how to connect my domain name to this site without shelling out cash, and I'm not going to do that. I'll figure something else out down the line if I need to.
So, what next?
1.) Create a video about my paintings and offer them as a prize for becoming a patreon donor...sounds like a cool idea. :) Maybe I can get that done tomorrow.
2.) Create an actual non-profit...I'll sit on that idea for a little while.
3.) Go downtown to talk with the homeless, offer food, services, document with camera, create video and post. I'll be out of town for the rest of February, so this idea will have to wait until March.
4.) Actually sit down with wife and plan our two month mission trip. Let's say we do this one over the next couple weeks.
In conclusion, I think if this is going to gain any traction, I need to post new videos and blog entries on the regular. Let's hop to it. Peace!
